The RAM medium b size socket arm (RAM-B-201U) is key in most mounting options. Next most popular are the Ram short arm (RAM-B-201-AU) and the RAM double socket arm long (RAM-B-201-CU) . Made in either metal or composite the Ram arm is hard-wearing and universal ball system. The RAM B size (1") is the most popular arm for bike and vehicle ram mounts. Use the Ram B size ram arms with a 1" ball bases to extend or utilise a mount. The RAM composite arms starting with prefix RAP are light-weight yet strong. The RAM metal arms use the prefix RAM and are made of powder coated marine grade Aluminium. If you need a more heavy-duty solution, then the RAM double socket arm C size which uses a 1.5" ball is available and for a more refined approach there's the A series which is 17mm ball.
