This fleet kit is consisting of RAM components is perfect for people who are looking for a bit more freedom in their mounting. The rail allows greater ability to find the optimum viewing point for your device. This mount is modular and this is the smallest end loading 'Tough-Track' Rail, so it is suitable for one ball. There are larger options available.
The track is designed to fit any vehicle with a flat surface. The track is to be drilled into the flat surface to offer a sturdy support base for devices to be mounted (screws not included). These could include phones, tablets, action cameras and even fishing rods on water vessels.
The track length is 3" (7.62cm) and width of .91" (2.31cm). The track thickness is .52" (1.32cm)
The Ball will enter at the end the track then slide up and down the track.
The ball features a rubber friction washer and a stainless steel T-bolt. This makes it easy to adjust and tighten for preferred placement. Twist the ball clockwise to tighten and twist counterclockwise to loosen or adjust the ball.
The mount can be used with fleet vehicles, like lorries and vans and trucks, needing to avoid obscuring views to wing mirrors and windows. Also for things like forklifts, tractors or retail vehicles, mounting to an upright bar in the operator cab. This will work with water vessels like kayaks and boats for mounting fishing rods and also action cameras. This means the rider is able to position the accessories without them getting in the way. The rails can be used at home as well. Attach the rail to the underside of kitchen cabinets for example. This allows for flexible viewing of recipes on your tablet while maintaining a clear workspace on your countertops.
