Garmin GPS devices can also be mounted to the car's charging outlet or cigarette lighter socket by simply unscrewing the swivel ball adapter head and revealing the 17mm ball mount base. Note: this lighter socket mount may not be suitable for some vehicles based on the location of the lighter socket/accessory outlet on the console.
